I'm Tired & it's NOT even Thanksgiving...
Ok Pinkies, I’ll be honest. It’s been super busy here at Maison Mutt. The holidays bring lots of orders [[YAY]] which translates to late nights of sewing for me (I still haven’t been able to teach Pierre or Bijoux to sew…they say it's something about dogs having no thumbs…I think it’s just an excuse). Anyway, I’ve been having a blast getting items into my online shop as well as the brick & mortar stores…which brings me to my post.
Feeling “thanksgivingy” I wanted to offer you some cool pics. But being a bit tired I just couldn't think. Nothing pink came to mind. Then I decided to have the internet inspire me. Uh huh.
Soooo without further ado (reminding you I’m feeling tired AND snarky) here is my PINK Thanksgiving Internet Inspiration offering:
When thinking of Thanksgiving a pilgrim resembling John Wayne always comes to mind…what?!? YOU don’t have the same image come to mind? Come on now, can’t you hear yourself telling all your guests: “Whoa take ‘er easy there Pilgram, there’s plenty to go around”.
Nothing makes me feel more thankful than to know that I live in a country that allows me to put this out in my yard &.... my neighbors will still talk to me.
Can you blame little ol’ Peter Cottontail here for being thankful that this holiday is all about Tom Turkey?
Well Mr. Elephant, don’t mind if I do…except all of a sudden I don’t feel so hungery. I can’t quite put my finger on it…
Oh ya, …it’s the picture of you on a scale. I’ll just chomp on this celery stick – thanks.
Ok, I’ve seen all you tablescape ladies. You know who you are.. I just KNOW that all of you will be clamoring over this one! You'll be the talk of the town *giggle* with this nifty errrrr... umm... decoration.
Whaaaa?! Can you believe THIS came up? NO really it DID. Really!!! As I continue to stare at it, 0.o [[again & again]] I have to wonder WHO would list this under Thanksgiving. Unless it was his girlfriend - who may have been thankful - for dating such a good sport who fulfilled his end of the deal when losing the bet that he could eat the WHOLE turkey. (I won’t tell her that he stole my boots from last Saturdays post).
I HAD to include a dessert. Some may question whether I have or not. For those of you who are thrillseekers, just click on the picture for the recipe…i dare you…
Well Pinkies, don’t say I didn’t warn you but you’ve been SUCH good sports - I HAD to give you these.
Thanks to all of you who have given me inspiration, tears, joy & laughter. You’ve all truly touched my life. I'm thankful for you.
Merci to Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for hosting this Grande Fête! Be sure to visit her & the other pink participants and leave comments...we love 'em
