Basset Rescue - Spotlight on Bessie

Who wouldn't be on cloud nine after looking into those big brown Basset eyes? Meet Bessie, an approximately four year old darling (what girl likes to give out her real age?).

Bessie made her way to the Bluegrass Basset Rescue with the help of a very dear friend of mine, Jodi Whitaker. Poor Bessie was left at a Kentucky shelter, while she was still pregnant! Her four lovely pups were all adopted out and this mommy needs a forever home of her own now.

She likes cuddling and giving kisses. Being quite girlie, she prefers being an inside dog. Bessie loves kids and gets along fine with other dogs. A big, loving personality inside a small package sums up this delightful little girl.

So get your head out of the clouds and contact
Bluegrass Basset Rescue (270) 890-0491 ...you'll be glad you did.

  1. Oh, she is so sweet. My cousin had a basset hound he loved, and when my niece was little, her basset used to sleep in her room on her bed with her. They are such good dogs. Hope she finds a forever family soon.

    XO,

    Sheila :-)
